Day 3 Paris Louvre, Opera, Seine River Boat Cruise July 31, 2010

What's the biggest, fabulousest, most over- whelming, and truly the best museum in the world? The Louvre, of course!

My favorite way to enjoy it is only give it 2 hours, and only try to see the most famous: The Mona Lisa, the Venus de Milo, and the Winged Victory.
Then get under- neath and see the ancient castle foun- dations.

Make an expedition to the other side of time and see the ancient Egyptian caskets and sphinxes, and then top it all off with lunch in their all-white modern cafeteria.

If you're a music lover, you have to see the Paris Opera House. Phantom of the Opera was set here, and it's gorgeous.

In the 1880's, all high society went to the opera, dressed to the hilt, to see and be seen. Be sure to dance in the ballroom!

Truly the most romantic boat ride you'll ever take is an evening cruise on the Seine in Paris.

All the buildings are bathed in light, and it's wonderful!
